【レポート】ハイパープロジェクション演劇「ハイキュー!!」〝飛翔〞開幕！

2019年11月1日（金）TOKYO DOME CITY HALLにて、ハイパープロジェクション演劇「ハイキュー!!」〝飛翔〞の幕が上がった。
本舞台は、アニメ化もしている集英社「週刊少年ジャンプ」にて連載中の、大人気バレーボール漫画「ハイキュー!!」を舞台化したものだ。
観客は実際のバレーボールの試合を観るように、そして、まるで原作の試合会場に足を踏み入れたような、そんな新しい体験が出来る。

ハイパープロジェクション演劇「ハイキュー!!」は、2015年11月に初演が行われ、今回でシリーズ8作品目となる。11月1日～11月4日の東京公演を皮切りに、大阪、宮城の3都市で上演。
2015年の初演から、2018年秋公演の〝最強の場所(チーム)〞では物語の主役校である烏野高校の全キャストが卒業し、今作では日向翔陽役の醍醐虎汰朗をはじめとする新生烏野がついに始動。
本稿ではゲネプロの様子と、ゲネプロ前に行われた会見での、出演者らによる意気込みや見どころをお届けしよう。
